The Clayton Farm Passion Fruit Passiflora edulis (3 LB)

Passion fruit is a nutritious tropical fruit. It's a rich source of antioxidants and contains a range of vitamins and plant compounds that could benefit your health. Most importantly, it is exotic and rare retail available. Why, because our Bay Area weather is not entirely warm enough for it, plus it takes advance gardeners to successfully grow it to produce fruits.

As the night time temperature drops in Bay Area, the passion fruits dropps too. Although some of the outter skin does has have a chance to turn to purple on the vine, but they will after you set them aside. Regardless the color of it's outter rind, the inside of our passion fruit is loaded with yummy passion fruit pulp, we have been eating it. Plus you can feel the density of the fruit when you pick one up from the ground.

We are eating and collecting the fruits as they drop, not only they are fresh, they are super delicious. If you have tropical taste bud like us, whether to eat fresh, make passion fruit puree, syrup or jam. The passion fruiit vine flowers twice a year, once in spring and once in summer. The fruits take 60-80 days to mature. The current crops are formed from summer.

You can order multiple orders, we will call you to pick up when we collect enough of passion fruit to fill your orders.
